TOPIC : THE DIRECTOR (theatre $ stage)
The director is an instructor in the theatre field who oversees the mounting of a theatre production, be it play or music. He must be knowledgeable in all areas of theatre in order to have a standard theatre production.
DUTIES OF THE PLAY DIRECTOR
He is the boss and selects scripts.
He interpretes the script and plans the production.
He makes decisions on the artistic concept.
He guides the performers on what to do.
He casts and rehearses the actors by blocking and guiding their movements.
He leads the members of the creative team into realizing their artistic vision.
