What is covenant?
It is an agreement or a bond between two parties with specific terms for each party to keep and obey.
TYPES Of COVENANT
There are two types of covenant
1) covenant between two equal parties e.g the covenant between Abraham and Abimelech.
2)the covenant between unequal parties e.g the covenant between God the stronger party and Abraham the weaker side/party
THE BIRTH Of ISAAC(Gen 21:1-8)
Abraham persisted in his faith and trust in God and the promises at the appointed time, God fulfilled his promise to Abraham .Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son.
Abraham was hundred(100) years old and Sarah ninety(90)years old,when a son was born to them . Sarah called his name Isaac meaning laughter.
